Bihar Board Intermediate (Class 12) is taught in three streams — Science, Commerce and Arts. For the main subjects BSEB follows the NCERT textbooks, while Hindi and English use the Bihar textbooks Digant Bhag 2 and Rainbow Part II. Here is the complete chapter list for every subject.

Tips to cover the Inter syllabus before 2027
- Start with the high-chapter subjects. Subjects like Chemistry, Biology and Geography have many chapters — spread them across the months instead of leaving them for the end.
- Practicals matter. In Physics, Chemistry and Biology a part of the marks comes from the practical exam, so keep your practical file and viva preparation up to date.
- Use NCERT examples and exercises. Many objective questions are built from the solved examples and in-text questions of the NCERT books.
- Revise Hindi and English chapter by chapter. Learn each lesson’s writer and central idea — these are asked often in the objective section.
